Some Things

Ok, I've been reading through some of the things people have posted about in here, and thought of a few things. But the one that caught my attention was the arcade idea

Have you thought about doing it Infernus? Because that would be awesome to have an arcade to mess around in.

Also, I was wondering about the cities we can download, is there any way that we could post them ourselves? I saw in the downloads forum that we can't have any files over 500 Kb, which isn't really big enough for an SC4 city..

How did I know this would come up again? I haven't really thought a whole lot about putting an arcade in. Now maybe if I could find one with a SimCity arcade game I would be right on it But really it hasn't been a serious thought in my mind for a while.

About the downloads, yes there is a 500 KB limit for uploads to this forum. I didn't choose that number, that is the maximum our host will allow, and I realize that isn't even enough hardly for a blank map. That's why I moved the actual downloads to the website, because I have no limit to the filesizes there. However, I am the only one that can post it there, so you will have to send the file to me through e-mail if you want a city put up for download on the website. I know it's a little annoying, but that's the way it works.

About the topics, yeah, I know. I need to go through and do some cleanup anyway, so I'll try to fix that up.

But would you consider it now? It has clearly been one thing that many people have wanted, and I think having an arcade would probably attract more people to the forum.

Oh, ok. See, I didn't really understand how we were supposed to do that. It says in that one thread to contact you, but I didn't really get how. Thanks for clearing that up.

Would I consider an arcade now? Maybe.

I'll do some looking around and try to figure out a rough idea of how I would even go about getting one, and then I'll answer back.

Ooh, I just thought of a new idea. In the articles forum, there should be a place for people to post ideas for new articles or reply with any they have written. I noticed we are not allowed to post new topics there so maybe you should create a suggestions thread?

Okay, I'll add that to my list of things to add. I didn't realize that I hadn't made one, thank you for pointing it out.

Oh sorry, I've been busy lately. I will make that topic right now.

I have not thought about the arcade idea much though, so right now it is probably not happening anytime soon.

I see you have made the suggestions topic, now if only I could convince you on the arcade

Actually now it doesn't matter as much, since I am not on as often.
