Can you say, 'online play'? That's probably taking it a little too far though, SimCity is just as fun now. You've put a lot of things in my head lately... |

You know I was thinking just today about online play! In online games now you can't burn or tear down buildings for obvious reasons but in SimCity online you could because the player would be rebuilding instead of the game company trying to manage some refresh/restructing of a persistent environment. It would be totally awesome.
There's a real downside to thinking about what could be tho - it will ruin your game unless you clear your mind before you bring the game up. |

Hehe, I think that would end up being the best part of it. Obviously building a huge city and trying to be the dominant trading power in an online world would be awesome too, but destroying cities can be just as fun!
Yeah, especially because you wouldn't be able to go back and fix any mistakes, so you'd have to know what to do beforehand. I can see that becoming a little frustrating, like say you accidentally bulldoze your power plant or something, it would be a really annoying setback. |
